On offer is a completely pre-assembled steering knuckle set, suitable for Golf 1 & Co for the driver and passenger side.

This makes replacement much easier and no special tools are required.

We have assembled the wheel bearing housings from the following parts:

Right steering knuckle, 171407256A
Left steering knuckle, 171407255A
Heat plate 171615311
Wheel hub 175407615
Wheel bearing 171498625D

After fitting, the toe and camber must be checked and adjusted if necessary.

Note:

Vehicles built up to 83 require steering knuckles with the OEM suffix "A" (as in this case) and fit 90 mm drive shafts.
Vehicles built after 83 require steering knuckles with the OEM suffix "B" and fit both 90mm and 100mm drive shafts.
