Die Bestandsaufnahme ist jedoch schnell gemacht: Ist ein Lenkspiel fühlbar und das Fahrverhalten schwammig ist es höchste Zeit etwas zu unternehmen. Neue Stoßdämpfer und ein Satz Fahrwerksgummis sind ab einer Laufleistung von 150.000 Kilometern sicher keine schlechte Idee. Die Gummiteile im Fahrwerk altern zudem, nach 20 oder 30 Jahren wird jeder Gummi hart und spröde. Zeigen sich erste Risse ist es Zeit für einen Austausch.
